Flowing House

This contemporary design is focused on the correlation between the indoor and outdoor. House wraps around a pool, external seating area and opens towards a garden. The design provides many seperate zones. The upper floor has three bedrooms and also includes home office and an additional rumpus space. The ground floor has a large open space that includes dining, lounge, seating and open kitchen. All of those spaces have a direct access to the outside. The house is designed on a steal frame and allows for the upper level to effortlessly land on the ground floor frame. To allow for large openings the floor above is supported by CHS spaced on the perimeter of the lower floor. Finishes include, powder coated steel, large plane glass and timber cladding externally and internally. In search of aesthetics, house is designed around simple form - with irregular roof and contrast of two predominant colours: off-white and anthracite.
